90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee
We Don't Just Size Your Ring. We Guarantee the Fit.
A ring that feels comfortable when you first have it sized may feel different once you've worn it as part of your everyday routine. That's why qualifying ring sizing services at Iroff & Son come with our 90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee — whether your ring was purchased from Iroff & Son or somewhere else.
Why Ring Design Matters
Not every ring can be resized in the same way. A ring's design and material can affect how much and how often it can be adjusted. Certain settings, construction methods, and materials may limit additional sizing. If a ring's design or material limits an adjustment, we'll discuss those considerations with you rather than making assumptions about what the piece can accommodate.
90-Day Perfect Fit Guarantee Terms
- The 90-day guarantee period begins on the Date of Service.
- If your ring feels too tight or too loose during that period, Iroff & Son Jewelers will resize it to a mutually agreed-upon fit at no additional charge for the sizing adjustment.
- This is a fit guarantee only; it is not a warranty covering the ring, gemstones, setting, or workmanship unrelated to the sizing service.
- The guarantee does not cover normal wear, damage, gemstone loss, setting damage, misuse, alterations performed by another jeweler, or repairs unrelated to
sizing. - Additional sizing adjustments may be limited by the ring’s design or material.
One-Year Repair Warranty
Jewelry repair is an investment in keeping a meaningful piece in your life. When Iroff & Son Jewelers performs certain repair services, that work is covered by our one-year Repair Warranty, beginning on the date of pickup.
The Repair Warranty applies to items that have received services such as:
- Ring sizing
- Rhodium plating
- Prong re-tipping or replacement
- Small stone replacement of less than .25 carat
- Refinishing
- Stone tightening
- Soldering
If a covered repair needs attention within 365 days, our team can evaluate the work and determine whether the issue falls within the repair warranty.
Not Every Repair Is the Same
Jewelry is made from different metals, stones, settings, and construction methods, so repair work can vary considerably from one piece to another. The type of service performed is one factor in determining what repair warranty coverage applies.
Some items may also be covered by a manufacturer's lifetime warranty. When that applies, we'll help you understand what coverage is available for your piece.
Hollow chains cannot be warrantied under this repair coverage. Items exhibiting what Iroff & Son Jewelers deems excessive, neglectful, or extraordinary wear are also not covered.
One-Year Jewelry Warranty
Our regular one-year Jewelry Warranty provides coverage for merchandise sold from our showcases and jewelry repair performed by Iroff & Son Jewelers. The warranty lasts for one year from the sale or repair date. It includes issues such as stones becoming loose or falling out, as well as breakage in the area where Iroff & Son Jewelers performed the repair.
Understanding Warranty Coverage
Jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed, but how a piece is worn and cared for can affect its condition over time. That's why warranty coverage depends on the jewelry's condition and the circumstances surrounding an issue.
For example, the warranty distinguishes between a covered issue involving a repair performed by Iroff & Son and damage resulting from unreasonable wear or abuse. The location and nature of the issue matter when determining whether a warranty applies.
Iroff & Son Jewelers will make the final determination as to whether a warranty issue resulted from unreasonable wear or abuse. And, if you’re not sure an issue falls under the warranty, we encourage you to bring the piece in so our team can evaluate it and explain your options.
